The Fantastic Folks at Eco Vessel sent me a Purple, my favorite color by the way, 17oz Insulated Vacuum Sealed Stainless Steel Bottle to put to the test.
I have been searching for a high quality stainless steel bottle that fits nicely in the hands and one that would keep my water cold. I do my part in being Eco Friendly by always caring my own reusable water bottle everywhere I go and I needed one that would put up with the abuse I deal out to my bottles. I've tried several eco friendly plastic ones, I'm not saying anything negative about them, just that I always break them. I really mean it when I say I abuse them! Ok, abuse might be harsh, but I really use the heck out of them.
I have been using my Eco Vessel bottle for a week now and am very pleased. I have used it both for cold and hot beverages and the bottle has performed great. Other stainless steel bottles can get really hot on the outside, but not the insulated Eco Vessel bottle. I also love the stainer that's included with each bottle, keeps your tea bag or ice from blocking the opening while you are taking a drink.
The Eco Vessel bottles is also very easy to clean, the opening is large enough to get a bottle brush in without forcing.
