What a wonderful selection!

I have been using each of these products for about a week now and I just love them. The scents are so enjoyable, they are soft and light.  I don't like scents that overpower everything, so I highly recommend these products. The Happy Skin Whipped Lotion is working great on my old dry skin, my skin just drinks it up.  
The lip balm goes on so smooth and I love the peppermint kick, the soap and shower gel are such a wonderful treat and the bath salts are soothing and relaxing.
I have been learning that the more natural and organic products I use, the less skin problems I have, I've punished my skin long enough, I'm sticking to natural and organic products.

This is a great way to introduce yourself to Mineral Makeup and that's what I did.  Lumiere was so nice and sent me a sample set of their foundation, 2 eye pigments, blush and a lip color.  I have been having fun with it ever since.  I am fairly new to the whole experience of Mineral Makeup and have been learning a few things along the way, Did you know your skin warms up the Minerals while it mixes with you natural oils and softens the look throughout the day? I know now.
When I first applied the makeup I thought it was way to light, but within a 1/2 hour the color blended in with my natural tones and looked great. 
The sample sizes are generous enough to get you started and to see what blends will work best for you.  The eye shadows that I was sent looked too dark at first for my fair skin, but again, I'm learning, they are perfect and I enjoy the look. The little lipstick sample is perfect for carrying around in your purse.
 Something else I have learned, the application of mineral makeup is much quicker than traditional makeup, or at least it is for me.  I love that it blends in so well and you don't have to worry about lines along your jaw bone or a fingerprint in your foundation you missed.

I have been using the Night Serum for the last 9 days and have loved the results.  I was having a problem with an earlier treatment I was using leaving my pores a little clogged.  I have found that the Night Serum has been very easy to apply, just a little squirt is needed, and it has not left my skin feeling oily.  The Night Serum has a very light feeling and my skin absorbs it quickly leaving a soft, silky feeling.

I have also been using it on a patch of eczema that broke out on my arm.  I wish I had taken before photo's because that patch is almost gone now.  I'm not claiming is heals eczema, I'm just stating that I used it on a spot and now that spot looks better, I think it may have something to do with the "anti-inflammatory relief and skin healing power of frankincense".

Solay Wellness sent me a trial size of their gentle Face Scrub, Detoxifying Mud Mask and Organic Face Lotion and I loved the results after just one use.  

The Face Scrub and Mud Mask were so easy to use and both felt so smooth while applying.  It was easy to put a thin layer of mud on, I've used other muds that were so difficult to apply and made me feel like I was tearing my skin while messaging in.  Solay's went on so smooth and easy and dried in no time.  Both the face scrub and mud mask were very easy to rinse off and both left my face feeling firmer and my pores noticeably smaller.

The skin on my face has been going through a major change in the last few months with all the great products I have been reviewing and this is another product I have added to my "must have" list.  For years I have ignored my skin and now I am paying the price, I deal with extremely dry skin every day. 

The great folks at Cleopatra's Choice sent me a sample of the Adovia Purifying Mud Mask and it has been a special treat for the skin on my face.  It is recommended to be used once a week as a deep cleaning treatment.  I have always had large pores on my nose, so I really inspected my pores, yuck,  prior to applying the mask for the first time and than again after the 30 treatment. I have to say, my pores were really noticeable smaller after the first treatment. 

The term "mud" is correct when it comes to the color and the texture, but it didn't smell like the mud I was thinking about when I first squeezed some out on my hand. We own a small farm and the mud we can get around here can become very rank with all the animals, boy was I glad this had a pleasant clean scent.  

Following the instructions, I had no problems applying the mud mask and it was not at all uncomfortable waiting the 20 minutes for it to dry.  I remember years ago using a similar product that made me feel like my face was growing inside a mask that was shrinking.  I hated that one, it left my face feeling dry and tight, but I have fallen in love this product. For years, and I mean Years, I have been making our own bath soaps with a simple recipe I got from Readers Digest "Back to Basic" Book that was published back in 1981.  The Old Fashioned Lye Soap recipe found in this book is really simple and easy and produces a great bar of soap. 
Through the years I have experimented with this recipe, adding all kinds of different oils, scents, coloring, etc.
This time I made up a batch of Coconut / Olive Oil soap using Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil. 
I am so pleased with the results.  Very white and a light scent of coconut.
