Lace Stitch Knitting Pattern

This is the knitting stitch I'm working on this week.

It's a very simple pattern with great texture.  I have had problems finding stitches to use with finer yarns that have some body to them.  Many lace stitches seem to blend all together and make it hard to really see the texture of the stitch.  I was looking through a stitch book I have, The Encyclopedia of Knitting and Crochet Stitch Patterns published in 1976, for something new and came across this lace stitch.
I have used it on the cuff of some Fingerless Gloves with great results

I used Red Heart's Symphony yarn which is really soft, mohair like yarn.
100 % Acrylic
