Children and Trains Gift Guide

This last summer we spent some time at the Houghton County Historical Museum in Lake Linden, Michigan.  The kids loved it.  They have two trains, a steam engine and a diesel fuel engine.  On Sundays they run the steam engine Old #3. Old #3 used to haul smelter lag, copper ingots & billets, and mineral concentrate between the C & H Mills and the smelter in Hubbell, Michigan.

Trains run every week-end - June-July-Aug-Sept, noon-4 pm
Adult $4.00
Senior/Student $3.00
Children Under 6 $1.00

We really had a great day and the kids rode several times, for only a dollar a ride!!!!!!  You can't beat that !
Lake Linden is a beautiful little community in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan with a rich history in Copper Mining.

With this memory still so fresh, we came up with a few items for our shop that are Train related
Train Whistles $4.00
