Mr Beams Anywhere Ceiling Lights are battery operated, motion sensor lights with an auto shutoff that can easily be mounted to almost any surface. The Ceiling Lights are bright enough to light up a large closet, and are perfect to light your attic, garage or storage spaces. You can even mount them outside of your home entryways for extra security.

The wonderful people at Mr Beams sent me a Anywhere Ceiling Light to put to the test.  I haven't mounted it to a ceiling yet, I've been enjoying moving it around the house to see how it reacts and trying to decide where I want it.  The light is very quick to respond to motion and I find the light it provides to be bright and not blinding, which I love. It can pick up movement up to 15 feet away and stays on as long as there is motion.  Turns off automatically when no motion is detected for 30 seconds.  It provided plenty of light in my closet, maybe too much, I found some cobwebs in the back that I never noticed before. I have it sitting on a shelf now that allows it to pick up our motion, but not the dogs.  The dogs have been having some trouble sleeping through the night and they were setting it off every 10 minutes. It has worked fantastic for me in the middle of the night when I have had to get up for one reason or another. Since it is no bigger than a smoke detector, I can see it being very useful in many locations.  Winter months are hard enough with longer nights, I now can find my way to the coffee pot in the morning without turning on any lights.  If I had a few placed from my bedroom to the kitchen, I would never have to turn on a light!
