Ecover offers a wide range of Eco-Friendly products for your entire house and for personal care.   One of my goals this year is to rid my home of all chemicals that are harmful to me, my family, my pets and the enviroment.  Ecover is helping me reach my goal with their great products, even the carton the dishwashing powder comes in is eco-friendly, the carton is made of 95% recycled cardboard.
I have learned you don't need all those nasty chemicals to really get your dishes clean and since our dishwasher is hooked up to a gray water ditch, I don't want all those chemicals leaching into my soil.  Our home also has a septic system and you know you have to be careful with what gets "flushed" into it. 
I have been using the Ecover Dishwashing Powder for a week now and it has cleaned as well or better than any chemically filled brand I have used in the past.
Another great thing about Ecover Dishwashing Powder, it's not all bulked up with a lot of filler products that you don't need and don't do anything to help clean your dishes.  It's a marketing gimmick to make us think we are getting more for our money.
