This is my first experience with mineral makeup and I learned a lot, Thanks Kim. I didn't know that mineral eye shadows have shimmer and glitter in them, not all of them, but the majority of them do. This scared me at first, I am not a heavy makeup wearer and at my age I am really not into glitter and shimmer. But my mind was enlighten, not all glitter and shimmer is over the top for older women. Since mineral eye shadows goes on as light or dark as you want and blends in so well, I have fallen in love with the shimmer ones. Glitter, on the other hand, still intimidates me somewhat, I can see using it for a late evening out to a place with low lights, but never for the office. That's just me. I love how smoothly the eye shadows go on, how simple it is to blend several colors together to get the look you want and that they lasted the whole day. I am one of those types that always rubs my eyes because of allergies and other irritants, but the eye shadow held up to my touching really well. Not only was I pleased with the eye shadows, I love the special bag Kim sent them in. My eye shadow was sent in a cute little Handcrafted bag made by Littleworm who has a shop on Etsy.
